COMPOSITION

PietraNova Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from 1,500 century-old olive trees of the Leccino, Moraiolo, and Frantoio varieties.

The olives are harvested during the first week of October, and the milling—entirely mechanical—is carried out cold to preserve their antioxidant properties.

FUN FACT
The circles visible on the label represent the so-called fiscoli, ancient discs made of plant fibers with a central hole, already used in Roman times. These were placed between layers of crushed olives in a press, and the oil was extracted from these “towers” of olives.
